I'm pretty sure these guys really ARE based on the German soldiers back in WW2. Even the name was taken from that war. National Socialist Party (aka Nazi Party) to National Army.
I would say thats not the real uniforms and the importants failure there is no cross.you can trust me, i come from germany and i like battlefield *** and it is not so important to have the right details in a funny version.
It is based upon WWII off course, but in the story, they are not the Allied and the Axis.
