For your reading pleasure I've gone through the Beta forums and present you with some snippets that our beta testers have posted.
where are the female heroes?
Dice, EA - it's not too late for you to take an simple but meaningful step in the right direction for the representation of women in video games.
mac version?
A version for the MAC would be really great, so I can play during lunch at work ;-)
what ability would you have?
If I could choose an ability for my character I would have an awesome karate chop action ability so instead of goin PEW PEW I would go CHOP CHOP! the exclamation mark signifies awesome. It would be the best ability in game and would cause all enemies and allies for that matter in the area to die because it is so awesome.
i <3 emotes
When I am not doing emotes in game I can't stop doing them in real life does that make me crazy? I think not but what is crazy is the lack of high five emote when you and a buddy have been in game double teaming some chumps when all you wanna do is turn and high five.
What emotes would you like to see implemented? the slap emote? the kick to the groin? what cha reckon.
Please bear in mind that these are comments from players. The fact that we post these comments here is not a promise that anything will be implemented in any way, shape or form ;)

I really hope you dont take this 'player feedback' too seriously. Considering the current audience, i bet you have some suggestions like: "Oo i want a perk like martyrdom in cod 4 but with a live nuklear warhead!one11" or "I want a pink pony as my player character, or the game will suk! :))"
And emotes in a shooter? Will we have time to chit chat like in an mmorpg or will we shoot each other instead and keep the action goin? I vote for the second.
An IQ filter would be nice besides the skill filter in the server browser too..
Additionally, i'm still not convinced about the awesomeness of the third person view of the game.. unless some adaptations are made towards this view. -Like a cover system á la Gears of War.
Watching your "very own player character" is cool i guess for a few minutes.. especially for mmorpg players, but after that, third person view is useless if the gameplay, and the 'mapflow' doesen't adapt to it.
As all of you other; CAN'T WAIT TO PLAY THIS GAME!

here is some tips from me:
*make friends
*send private messages
*to make clans or gangs or even better make your own platoon or squads! :D
*and to have ranks (like three stared general and so an...)
*have your own page, here you can write about yourself and where you can see his/her friends, rank and what platoon(or gangs...) the player is in
*make platoon/gang war games...

owh i forgot some things...
it would really be neat with close combat like flying kicks and poke anotherones eyes out and to be able to block them xD

I cant decide which I want to play more! Battlefield Heroes or Spore!
i also have some doubts about the third person view becuase in some other games i have played people camp next to walls and wait for someone to come as they can see around corner using it in zoom out this is very annoying as when your chasing some one they can just go around a wall and wiat then have easy aim.
also this will mean it will be alot hard to knife a sniper or other people from behind and things like that if they can see around them as well as infont quite annoying i should imagine if you come to kill a sniper with a knife and he/she stand up and blast you with a pistol a million times

I've seen similar comments from other game. Proof is in the pudding as they say...
I hope you most more of these in the coming days/weeks.. I love to read new things about Battlefield Heroes.. Keep them comming! ^_^

Well what can I say, emotes would be bad... very bad... people would just run about spamming the damn things all the time and it would cause a lot of team killing because people would get very annoyed very fast, unless there would be an option to turn them on and off so you would not have to put up with the "lamers" spamming them about just to annoy people.

third person owns the world, that's so far funnier than FPS, it rocks, good joob dice.

whos beta testing this 3 year olds? i seriously worry about the mentality of the people that will be playing this it wont be a game for more serious and mature gamers i dont think

Any chance of this game being able to run in a Linux environment? I'd even be satisfied if I had to run it through WINE. I suppose I could boot into Windows just to play this game if I MUST, but do consider it, please! Always loved Battlefield and am excited as heck for this installation of the series!
